The creation of a neighborhood
REDEVELOPMENT OF THE MOLSON BREWERY SITE
The Molson Coors Brewery provides an unprecedented opportunity to create a new living environment that integrates with the Faubourg district. Revitalization of this 1.1 million square foot property, the last undeveloped city center site that offers a broad window on the Saint Lawrence River will endow the city with an exemplary, visionary, quality development project, which is inspired by Montreal’s lifestyle and reflects the values of the community.
Redevelopment of the Molson Brewery property will foster the creation of a complete, predominantly residential rental neighborhood, where Montrealers can live, play and work, in part by leveraging nearby services and job opportunities.

PARTNERSHIP
The Consortium formed by Selection Group, MONTONI and the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ was chosen by the Molson Coors Brewery to acquire and redevelop the site, after the plant’s production and distribution activities are moved in 2021. The Consortium stood out among other potential buyers due to its global vision, which focused on a mixed use, sustainable development, that respects the heritage and the legacy of the iconic brewery. Its positioning as owner, developer, builder, operator, and actor involved in the development of Montreal’s economy and community ensures the respect and sustainability of the site's redevelopment vision.
